There is a lot of debate surrounding garlic. Some say yes, some say emphatically no.
So what is going on? The answer lies in the dosage.

Toxic doses of garlic can cause haemolytic anaemia, a disorder in which red blood cells are destroyed faster than they can be made. The trouble is that nobody knows how much garlic will be the downfall of a certain dog. The risk is probably low overall but it’s a very real concern no matter what someone tells you. Personally, I just wouldn’t risk it.
